With this panel discussion, the ALBA Network and The FENS-Kavli Network of Excellence provide an opportunity for supporting the careers of researchers from underrepresented groups.

During the panel, participants will learn about the tools needed to be assertive during negotiations, which is useful at various stages in a scientist’s career. Members of both networks – the ALBA Network and The FENS-Kavli Scholars (FKNE) – will be sharing their own experience with negotiation.

Programme:

After a short introduction by Prof. Carmen Sandi – FENS President and Chair of the ALBA Network, the two panel co-chairs will invite panelists to define their key principles for a good negotiation and share their own experience on negotiation and how it served them in their career.
This will be followed by a live Q&A where the audience will ask questions to the panelists through a chat system.
